Origin: Brazil, Central America

Grain Type: Interlocked grain with coarse yet even grain patterns and large pores

Color: Reddish to gold to light brown coloring, lighter colors

Advantages: Has more longevity than some woods from rot and decay resistance, there is no odor or allergen risks from this wood

Disadvantages: This wood is difficult for DIY projects and requires experience and adequate tools to work with
